2023 Holiday Treats – Part 4

With the approach of the Christmas & New Year’s holidays, here is an easy party punch for your holiday festivities. You can even make a non-alcoholic version for little ones and designated drivers.

Three simple ingredients

To put together this crowd-pleasing punch, all you need is prosecco, cranberry juice, and Grand Marnier. Put everything in the fridge and just before your guests arrive, mix them together in a large pitcher. You can garnish with fresh cranberries or sugared fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired.

Substitutions

  • Substitute any sparkling wine or champagne for the prosecco – nothing too expensive as long as it is drinkable.
  • Substitute Cointreau or triple sec for the Grand Marnier.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute an orange or cranberry sparkling water for the prosecco and substitute ginger ale for the Grand Marnier.

Description

This festive punch will instantly put you in a celebratory mood. You can also make a non-alcoholic version for little ones.


Ingredients

Scale

750 ml prosecco

2 cups cranberry juice

1/2 cup Grand Marnier

Fresh cranberries for garnish, optional


Instructions

Chill the prosecco and cranberry juice in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Mix the prosecco, cranberry juice, and Grand Marnier in a large pitcher. Pour in to flutes or glasses and garnish with fresh cranberries, if desired.

Notes

Substitute any drinkable sparkling wine for the prosecco.

Substitute Cointreau or triple sec for the Grand Marnier.

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute an orange or cranberry sparkling water for the prosecco and substitute ginger ale for the Grand Marnier.
