Whipped Brie

  • Author: She's Almost Always Hungry

Description

Creamy brie is whipped into a luscious spread, a perfect centerpiece for any cheeseboard. Zhush it up with your favorite toppings like honey, fresh herbs, or nuts.

Ingredients

Scale

16 ounces brie*

Honey, fresh herbs, or nuts, for garnish

Baguette toasts or crackers, for serving

Instructions

While the brie is just out of the refrigerator and cold, use a serrated knife to remove the outer rind.

Cut the brie into cubes and place into a food processor. Pulse a few times before letting it whirl for about 30 seconds or until light and creamy. Don’t overprocess the brie as the heat will start to melt the brie and it will separate.

Place in a serving dish and top with salt, pepper, honey, fresh herbs, or nuts.

Serve immediately.

Notes

*For this recipe, supermarket (a.k.a. cheap) brie is more than fine
